We love Lucy! She’s skilful, wacky and writes like a female Alex Turner. We caught up with the lovely lyricist to talk about Saturday’s show, her celebs crushes and also to get the skinny on THAT infamous night out with Rylan. We only have one complaint, next time invite us too!

 Luce, you gave a fab performance on Saturday… 

 Thanks – I thought it was alright. I almost forgot the words to Titanium. I got to the last verse and my mind went blank. Fortunately, the words came to me in the nick of time. I spragged it out! 

 Tell us about ‘Sprylan’ 

‘Sprylan’ has been awarded to us by our twitter followers. Ha! I keep joking about Rylan and I having a lovechild together. Can you imagine how funny that would be? It would turn out to be a right little hell-raiser! Basically, we’re the fun Finalists. We know how to party!

 Tell us about THAT night out… 

I laughed when I saw the paparazzi videos of us online from the other weekend. We certainly know how to let rip on a night out. I’d also like to clear a few things up though! We categorically didn’t get into arguments with anyone on that notorious night out. And for the record, neither of us peed ourselves in public. Ick! 

 Do you have a girlfriend? 

I am single at the moment. I like girls to be confident but not cocky. There’s a fine line between having self-belief and being full of it! I like ladies who are genuine and creative as well.

 Anybody you fancy in the public eye? 

I have a crush on Marina from Marina and The Diamonds. She is my dream woman. If I met her, it’d be VERY embarrassing. For once, I think I’d be lost for words. 

 Any more tattoos planned? 

I’m getting a tattoo that says ‘I may be scared to death of dying but I ain’t afraid to live.’  (source of  X Factor news)
