Most children of her age would struggle to sit through an opera. But at just seven years old, Alma Deutscher in UK has already solved her own. She has become a classical music consciousness after composing her own version of a coveted opera. The ingenious youngster has become a classical music mind after her first major creation was highly commended by the English National Opera & not only is Alma an completed composer, she is also a skilled violinist and pianist. Videos of her work have been viewed more than 300,000 times since her father shared them on YouTube – and her abilities have led to comparisons with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who by five had mastered the keyboard and violin and started composing. Alma’s father Guy, an Israeli-born linguist and amateur flautist, said he realised his daughter had a connection with music when she was a baby.
